Prioritize SCAD Upperclassmen in Housing

If you want prioritize Freshman, then you start with a level and don't penalize upper level students..

yet another abhorrent SCADhome decision… let’s see if they will finally do something to benefit the student body over the capital gain of the school/brand/business

Please fix this SCAD

SCAD needs to do better! With all the money they charge, this is unacceptable! Not to mention the horrible bus service, especially on the weekends. Now housing!!! Oh NO!

As an upperclassman, I find the new housing policies to be insulting to the loyalty me and my upperclassman peers have demonstrated towards SCAD. Seniors and Juniors should be rewarded for their hard work in getting to the last few years here at scad. Not punished.

Disgusting to see SCAD treating their students this way.

This is completely unfair, you shouldn’t be ousting upperclassman to make room for people you overadmitted!

I need housing and the scholarship that comes with living on campus because I direly need a place to live while I get my degree.

I have a friend who goes to SCAD, and seeing how badly this incredibly short sighted decision will affect the students this university purports to care about leaves an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. Refusing to invest in, and actively destroying the chances of the students who have shown the grit and determination to apply themselves is disgraceful to say the least. Whoever is responsible for this decision should take a long hard look at their priorities and ask if this abhorrent treatment of returning students is truly how they wish to be remembered

While giving new students a place to live near campus is ok, completely ignoring the senior students is to ignore the future generation of hardworking people. Senior students have just as much right as to have their own residency as their fellow underclassmen but that does not justify that this will leave several students without homes

Makes no sense to prioritize freshmen over upperclassmen. Please show some respect to them.

this arrangement is asinine. it’s completely unreasonable for seniors to get last choice, especially on things for which they’ve been waiting years.

Parent if rising Senior who needs campus housing

Showing preference in one group can affect the completion of education on the minority with limited resources and income

As a parent of a SCAD student, I am concerned about this issue. Our son will not live off campus at this time. He has worked very hard at SCAD and we want him to remain on campus. We do not agree with this decision. We should have a meeting to discuss this issue. We are very concerned about him. Thank you
