We hit one thousand signatures and the bureaucrats in the Ministry of Defence are officially on notice. They cannot ignore this level of rage any longer because our military readiness is not a toy for politicians to trade away.

YOU MUST RECONSIDER THE FUTURE OF THIS GREAT BRITISH PLANE, IT IS A BRILLIANT AND UNIQUE BIT OF ENGINEERING.
Why has the Government got such a downer on quality British equipment? Soon, there won't be ANY Great British inventions left. Perhaps if we stopped giving MPs expenses, and we spent our money more wisely, there might be more in the Chancellor's coffers! WAKE UP before its too damn late!
The Harrier was, and still could be, a brilliant and unique aircraft! Our ultra-expensive carriers need Harriers!
Just imagine how much money could have been saved with the Libyan crisis, with the harriers on a platform just of the coast they could have been on mission quicker and more effectively....we need them for our missions to be effective..just one example
Total madness getting rid of these. We are basically stripping our own defenses bare for no good reason. Keep the Harrier flying!
