Relocating people from Durban to South coast should not be aloud, It is killing the small towns, they are becoming fill of people loitering and begging the locals aswell as our holidays makers, They also vandalise properties urinate in public and have no.respect for others when declined when asking for money or food. The government should make provision a place for them inland away from the public eye. THIS WAY OUR TOWN CAN REMAIN CLEAN AND TIDY. !!!!!

Absolutely agree in that these vagrants and drug addicts will destroy the lives of our kids, grandkids and will destroy properties. They certainly do need help but moving them will not make a difference as their help comes from within and God.We already have enough of our own drug issues and adding more of them will completely ruin our little towns

I fear for kids as it stands Durban cbd is not a safe place now bringing them to a place with less security is calling for trouble

Relocating won't help. Put them in a rehab , they need help.

They have been doing it for years already, periodically we have new arrivals in Scottburgh, it has severely impacted our safety and enjoyment of our residence

I am a Durbanite
Addics have a mind of their own and will make their way back to the CBD. Ethekwini does not have the right to dump vagrants elsewhere and think the problem will dissappear. They beg and steal to survive. Saps and immigration need to deal with this in Durban. Deport the foreign addicts and dealers and arrest the others. For once the municipality must take responsibility for the scourge they have allowed to fester.
Every addict has a family and there is a valid reason why they don't want the addict in their home, so why should other law abiding citizens have to deal with this

We have enough of our crime in the area, so sort out the problem by helping those addicts relocate them does not help addicts. I'm sure lots of them want to be helped .
