If these people are identified as such then the responsible thing to do is institutionalize them in a rehab facility.

I oppose this it doesn't solve the problem in Durban CBD, there will be more there. Solve it where it occurs

Please stop sending all the addicts to our small towns as they add no value to the community and are squatting all over town as well.

This is a dump your problem somewhere else and not a permanent solution, you need to solve the problem with a rehab in Durban central, where they are located. Containing and dealing with the problem, would be a solution. Crime moves and spreads. Stop it in it's tracks in Durban Central. These people congregate in durban central because of the concentration of opportunities in that area. If you move them somewhere else within a few months, they will hitch a ride on the night trains back to where you moved them from wasting tax payer resources. Lastly who are you to move them if they are not declared mentally unstable and are not willingly to put themselves in a mental hospital or rehab, you cannot force anyone, this is illegal, everyone has a right to freedom of movement to be in the public area they choose unless declared unfit in society.

Durban needs to look after their own people and problems. Just like all other areas do. Durban has plenty of parks for housing and vacant flats in Point that can be used

This will bring crime to the area
