Why exclude kosher-eating fellow Jews from the fun? Enjoy your gala, just as kosher as past years.

By providing Kosher food the 92nd street Y is inclusive of all Jews, by providing non kosher food, then Orthodox Jews are excluded. Providing a frozen kosher meal is appropriate if Catholic Charities is trying to accommodate for Jewish participants. It should not be the Modis Operendi for a Jewish organization.

Used to attend the 92nd St. Y fifty or more years ago as a child. This is not appropriate!

With the upcoming Shavuous holiday where the Jewish People was gifted the responsibility to reveal the sparks of kedusha within our material world, may the 92nd Street Gala guests enjoy a strictly kosher evening together.

With the advent of Shavuous where all Jews were given the gift and responsibility to reveal the sparks of kedusha in our material world, may the efforts to host a fully strictly kosher event succeed before the pen even dries on the petition!

By making a decision to have a treif dinner you are shutting out 50% of your members from attending classes, films, & speeches given there.

Keep the Y's dinner kosher. If not, you may as well change the H(ebrew) to a C(hristian) since there will be very little differentiation between the two organizations.

Providing kosher food excludes no one. Not providing kosher food excludes not only the Orthodox but many Conservative Jews and others who are supportive of inclusion. Any decision to lower kosher standards is an affront to the body of Jewry.

A Chilul Hashem indeed. I am Conservative but recognize and respect the fact that Jewish agency community events must always maintain the highest level of Kashrut to promote inclusiveness of Klal Yisrael..

This is an outrage. There are many orthodox Jews that live on the westside that probably go to events here and you are excluding them.
