I truly hope that the 92nd St Y recognizes the importance of their actions and remains connected to over 3000 years of Jewish tradition.

You are violating our affiliation agreement by having a Non-kosher event. Please correct this while there is still time

No excuses. There are plenty of kosher caterers in all price levels and capabilities. Why go out of your way to support non-kosher caterer and alienate members?

There is absolutely no excuse for not serving a kosher meal at the Y-Gala.

I was really sad to read this. I am signing this for the sole reason that by making the Gala non-kosher, you are sending a strong message - Kosher-keeping Jews are not welcome. I thought the 92Y was a place for all Jews. In a time when so much us else divides us, why do something that divides us more? An event like this should bring Jews together, not make some Jews feel excluded. Please reconsider this.

m so disappointed in the decision to exclude my husband and myself by changing your traditional kosher menu to a totally non-kosher only menu. I encourage you to consider returning to your menu which would include me, my family and my friends. I cannot in all good conscience attend an event which I am considered 2nd class.

It is a shame that a Jewish function should be designed to EXCLUDE Jews who observe kashrut.
