It's sad and unfortunate that "kosher" is no longer fashionable for the 92nd st Y.

This is outrageous statement on behalf of the Y. They have made a terrible error in judgement and needs to correct it. This will be the beginning of the end for the Y and what the Y is all about. Kosher is a cornerstone of the religion. Correct this mistake, and learn.
thank you

I cannot think of any reasonable explanation for breaking with Jewish law and tradition this year. If kosher was good enough for the first 120 years, its good enough for the second 120 years. What foolishness is this? So many Jewish children don't know who they are. Why would we defy
G-d's laws now? Now is the time to follow the light of Judaism, not stray from the basics. We know right from wrong. Let's make thoughtful and righteous choices, not expedient ones.

I was shocked and appalled upon learning that the famous 92 St Y, is planning to serve NON-KOSHER food at it's Gala dinner! As a JEWISH organization you should respect the law of kashrut to include all denomination of Jews. I am sure you will think it over and do the right thing. KEEP IT KOSHER .

This is a shanda and a black spot on the integrity and belief in our religion. Surely many will not attend because of this and your membership will decrease as a result of this awful attempt at downgrading our religious pride. Better to charge more than serve trefoil!

Get rid of the shagitz who arranged for non-kosher food to be served.

I find this to be a horrible affront to normative Judaism. Please make it Kosher.

Why break the cycle of a tradition who works? Would your mother or grandmother have eaten there? Ask yourself if you father or grandfather would have attended? Try to keep this event kosher out of respect for your own ancestors! Thank you for your consideration.

If you are a Jewish institution, why exclude any Jews?
No reason not to make it kosher.... It's so easy in NY!

Its deplorable to serve non Kosher at a Jewish institution.
Shame, Shame, Shame!
I ask that you reverse this situation and serve once again good Kosher meals as you have been for so many years.
