I'm pretty sure ESA saved my life. To take away specialty schools from the TDSB is to put a nail in countless teenagers coffins.

This isn't what equity is. If the TDSB thinks they can remove specialized programs just like that, they've got somethin else comin.

It would be a mistake for the TDSB to eliminate successful programs that are open to all in the name of fairness! Only kids that can afford specialized programs will have the opportunities now given to all. This makes no sense.

Don’t remove specialized schools! It’s horrible! People love these schools and let people be themselves!

LET KIDS ACHEIVE THEIR DREAMS! Taking away programs like Claude Watson would be a horrible horrible move.

This is very disappointing. I would not be where I am in life today if it were not for the specialized program I attended in public school - others should have a similar opportunity to be challenged and excel.

There is no reason to change our programs after so much effort has gone into creating and developing them. They are enjoyed by so many students and it is wrong to deprive people of that.

It is not just artists that will the affected. It is also the students that move on to study other disciplines and have the benefit of being taught to think and approach problems from a different perspective that will benefit the student and society as a whole.

I’m in pre ap and value it a lot. Taking that away and putting me with academic and applied kids will not only lower my standards but my academic potential as a whole

These programs are the things that distinguish students from those who want to learn and those who don't.

The fact that is idea is even up for discussion is infuriating and a gross example about what the TDSB is doing to “benefit students”

I am from a school with “specialized” program. Can’t even imagine my school without these programs.
