Please do not allow the TDSB to eliminate the opportunities for excellence in education and competitiveness in Canadian society, under the misleading banner of equity. The only result of this unfortunate program will be mediocrity across the board.

Quality education includes much more than just the basics. Children needs access to a variety of programs and supports to support their love of learning and well-being.

what you need to get rid of is the Specialized Catholic School Board.

As an artist I think this is very important for everyone to have the special programs and I think you should not cancel any programs because this is truly upsetting for many students.

Better arts programming in grade school will allow more students to be able to attend specialized programs, thereby making it more equitable. don't undo all the good that has been developed.

I would not like to be sent to my home school this is because Wexford’s porforming arts program helps students get better at there arts and also so students have an interest to going to school

Kids in specialized schools works so hard! It's a shame if TDSB remove these schools.

Wexford is an arts school. It shouldn’t be anything less than an art school.

This is such a bad idea. Instead of getting rid of schools the equity force should work to include more marginalized students into them! Specialized schools give so much support to students--even certain marginalized groups like the LGBTQ+ community-- so to dismantle them would literally be going against your goal. I know arts schools currently benefit white queer folks primarily, but that doesn't mean you can't increase the intake of students from schools that aren't usually considered. These schools are so important, as a student who attended a specialized school, please do not get rid of them. They were my home.

Come on! It is no wonder so many people who can, opt for private school. The public school system in Toronto is just plain lacking.

Students in specialized programs have worked so hard to get into them! Why discourage them and take out the programs that are inplace to give students more of a challenge in their education.

This is absurd. Please do not do this. So many kids are benefiting. If it is needed at more schools expand the offering vs taking away something good.

This is a ridiculous proposition jeopardizing the future of 100s of bright students for no fault of theirs,.

Why do you guys not care about your students? This is such a bad thing. All schools will be overpopulated and you are ruining people’s lives and high school careers. Many students will loose the education they wanted and many teachers will loose their jobs
