A lot of people hold the programs close to heart and would be very upset if they were phased out

My daughter attends a specialized school and it has enhanced her life and quality of education. Why take that away from her and kids like her.

I think students all around our TDSB community should have the same opportunity’s to participate in specialized high schools. This will enrich their learning and give them a clear understand on what they would like to move forward in life.

Specialty schools are an integral part of
the TDSB and should remain available for students who are able to maximize their potential through this unique environment.

Students should be given the option to participate in specialized programs or apply for a optional attendance. It's their education and their future and they shouldn't be forced to attend their home school. I attend Martingrove CI, which is home to the gifted and AP program. I was in the AP program for the past 3 years and liked the challenge it put forth. Martingrove is also not my home school. Students work better in an environment they enjoy. I know that I wouldn't be as successful as I am if I had attented my home school.

Schools like ESA and others allow students to focus on their passions while still ensuring they complete the High School requirements. Put back arts programs in public schools.

This program and school in general really matters to the students. The students put their lives and time into this. Also their parents.

The TDSB should not be closing specialized schools. Many students need what the school specializes in to succeed. Not everyone can fit the regular public school's cookie cutter.

I went to an Arts-Based Curriculum School and it changed my life entirely for the better.
I hope this helps.
