Seriously?? What is this communist crap??!! If this ever goes through, the whole thing will just deteriorate.

STudents have different needs, you cannot give the same thing to every single student and expect spectacular results, its like asking an elephant and moneky to climb the same tree, the elephant won't be able to climb the tree because its a Fu*king elephant SMH

As a student in one of the programs myself, I heavily disagree with this. Students all over the GTA have had the opportunity to pursue their special interests and talents by choosing to go to these schools for years now. Years of hard work and passion that the amazing teachers at these schools have put in will suddenly turn to nothing. . Improving the local schools will not make a difference. Improving the local schools will not make a difference. These students deserve to go above and beyond. I'd hate to see myself in a few years, applying for post-secondary education after going to some nameless, unremarkable, mediocre high school similar to all the others.

Students should have opportunities in education which cater to their skills. It is not fair to remove special programs which cater to specific student's needs and can enhance their skills/talents. By removing the programs, you are NOT creating equality, because there will be people who struggle to learn in academic classes//etc. People will lose their jobs, schools will lose their names, and no one will be motivated. Tdsb has no right to take away student education.

The special programs are very helpful for kids with special needs, and they are equally open to all students who want to try and willing to take the challenge. Such great programs definitely need to keep and to do everything to make it better. Eliminating those wonderful programs is harmful to the existing public education system.

All TDSB students have the opportunity to choose specialized educational program which meets the different needs and that is equitable opportunity. I disagree to phase out of specialize programs in TDSB

The Canadian future arises from excellence! We need to provide the choices for talented, hardworking students!

The specialized educational program is an very important part of the learning environment. It is open to all students who has interest in. ALL students in TDSB have equitable opportunities to apply for These programs. I do not see anything against equity.

I Disagree with the proposed changes to eliminate the disparities of schools. On the contrary, I believe competition and varieties should exist to meet the different needs of the students. General schools should be encouraged to learn from those sucesssful programs and improve their quality of education. Eliminating those wonderful programs is harmful to the existing public education system.

All these special programs have been successfully for years, and all the public schools should learn from the experiences of these programs then improve their quality of education. the entire education system should look up instead of down.

I strongly disagree with the proposed recommendations. First, this recommendation will be definitely harmful to the diversity of the educational components among the whole school board, which is believed to the one of the corner stones of the value system of the Canadian society. Second, this is a neglect to the fact that some children have special potential and interests on special fields while other don't. Third, this is to destroy a competitive atmosphere and to encourage mediocrity among the whole community.

These specialized programs are a wonderful opportunity for families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford such programming through a private system.

The special programs are very helpful for kids with special needs, and they are equally open to all students who want to try and willing to take the challenge. Such great programs definitely need to keep and to do everything to make it better.

It will be a great benefit no only for talented students, but more for Canada if public schools continously provide these special programs to best fit students' abilities and potentials. Equality is more about all level of students get same satisfactary of school learning experiences, advanced students need to be provided with advanced opportunities to learn through special programs, instead of same content been taught with mainstream students in same class.

Programs such as this make it possible for children like mine where there are limited resources able to explore options in the arts that are otherwise not available
