Prevent Barratt/Redrow from destroying St Fagans woodland

St Fagans is a well known old village and within its heart is the Welsh Museum. It is essential we keep old woodland especially in view of the Welsh Assembly wasting money by distributing trees to the general public within the last two years. Allowing planning permission will be an ambiguous statement negating use of public funds.

Prevent the invasion of our historic woodland territory I’m certain that brown field sites exist which would suffice

We have already lost our fields, let's not lose anymore of our surroundings.

4-5 year of not using public land was never explained to me when buying it was also meant to be the end of our development

Regular visitors to 14 Clos Coed Bychan this appears to be an unnecessary destruction of woodland and disruption to residents.

Sister of home owner at 14 Clos Coed Bychan and visit regularly.

We frequently visit our son and daughter in law in Clos Coed Bychan and feel this is unnecessary destruction of woodland and green space when there is already a perfectly good access road.

Objections: 1. The Redrow site completed all construction work more than a year ago, with the roads fully resurfaced with tarmac. Allowing large construction vehicles such as lorries and heavy machinery to re-enter via Pentrebane Road will cause severe damage to the newly laid roads. 2. Along Pentrebane Road there is a playground where many children play daily. If large construction vehicles are permitted to use this road again, it will compromise the cleanliness and safety of the playground, and place children at significant risk of traffic accidents, making the park unsuitable for residents’ use. 3. The return of heavy vehicles via Pentrebane Road will seriously disrupt residents’ daily access. At peak times, residents may experience blockages when commuting, leading to repeated delays. In addition, loose debris and waste from construction vehicles could easily damage private cars. Should residents’ tyres or vehicles be damaged as a result, will Redrow take full responsibility for compensation?

I grew walking and playing in these fields. They hold a very special place in the heart of a lot of St fagans residents. Not to mention the historical welsh value this area holds
