Apologies for the misinformation: the trees were felled to create storage space and access roads for the construction site, not to build a construction material warehouse.

I live in a house built by Redrow in CF5 3FA. I've always admired Redrow, but I'm now extremely disappointed with Barratt Redrow, which has needlessly destroyed this woodland to build its construction material warehouse.
Coed Bychan is an important nature reserve. Don't expect deforested woodland to recover in five years. Building a construction material warehouse on woodland, with the constant flow of materials in and out, destroys the habitats of plants and animals and endangers their lives. Once woodland is destroyed, it's difficult to recover after five years, especially when there are many ancient trees.
The developer offered to remove the diseased trees, but helping the government protect the woodlands is the responsibility of any competent developer; it shouldn't be a condition for occupying woodland space.
In fact, the developer has ample space on the development site for a construction material warehouse. There's no need to destroy the natural habitat of plants and animals. This is a beautiful and historic woodland that holds fond memories for local residents. As a responsible and competent developer, there should be a better way to resolve this issue than ignoring the opinions of local residents and causing irreparable damage.

How do proposals comply with Planning Policy Wales 12 (2024) requirement 6.4.42 for all proposed on-site losses of trees to be compensated at a ratio of 3:1 by specimens of at least equal physical condition and ecological value?

Inexcusable and unnecessary destruction of the natural habitat, plus cuts off walking routes to key heritage sites.

Destroy the woodland which mean one of selling point of this living area will be lost forever. Having a negative impact of difficulty to re-sell and decrease of vale of property in whole site. Besides, the traffic light will create a mass for all road user and people who living around.
