1233 Clearfirld Circle Lutherville, MD 21093 As a resident of Seminary Ridge, I know that this would increase traffic through our neighborhood on Tally Ho due to the intersections that are already F graded. We already see folks cutting through our neighborhood on Tally Ho when traffic is particularly bad.

At least four intersections within 1/2 mile from my residence Foxleigh Green at Deep Run in The Meadows of Greenspring) are failing. It would be idiotic to add the kind of traffic an institution of this kind would bring to this area. That is putting it mildly.

We oppose the project for the following reasons: --Consider there are three failing (F) traffic intersections: The intersections at Falls & Seminary, Falls & Greenspring, and Falls and Joppa Road are all classified by the State Highway Administration as failed intersections, and have been for years. These roads are not able to handle current vehicle volume, and a large structure generating several hundred cars for each activity would only increase the daily traffic jams on West Seminary Avenue. Weekend only traffic could increase by 500-600 cars per service. --Additional daily traffic: While the Church may argue their traffic is confined to Saturday and Sunday, a check of the church website shows many activities throughout the week, especially around rush hour. They have daily meetings each week for a variety of programs, increasing traffic. Recently, GRACE held a five day national conference with approximately 800 attendees each day, generating hundreds of cars and needed parking. --There are problems with the site regarding well water. Adjacent property owners have multiple wells for each home, which flow poorly and which are dug very deep to get even minimal water volume for a house. The proposed Church would be tapping the same aquifer, using up to 4,000 gallons of water daily on the weekend. --Zoning regulations, drafted and adopted years ago, did not envision a megachurch to be placed in a rural zone, whether zoning is rural residential or rural preservation. The matter of runoff and environmental protection cannot be ignored. Consider the recent Ellicott City tragedy where it is said that all surrounding communities were “built to code” with regard to storm water management. That type of flooding could happen downstream where the Deep Run stream drains into The Jones Falls. Please consider the impact of this large-scale operation being located in our community. 8500 Marblehead Road
