My kids play two sports but I like to read about ALL the athletes in our community, in ALL sports, both boys and girls. In order to find articles about various schools, sports and athletes I have to read several different newspapers. I am hoping the Herald can do a better job of covering more in the community as a whole.

Hard to beleive this is happening considering the events for both boys and girl typically take place at the same locations.

Girls should be recognized right along with the boys. I have been involved with girls wrestling for 8 years with Burlington Edison Lady Tigers. If a reported can be sent for boys they should send one for girls. All sports teams should have equal representation whether it be boys or girls.

My 6 year old daughter is in her 3rd year of wrestling. It's time for equal coverage of boys and girls wrestling. Sending the message that what girls do isn't as important as the guys, we'll it's just ludicrous. Equal coverage for girls wrestling!

It's a shame that our local paper cannot afford to cover certain sports when other local papers that are much smaller can afford it!!

It is ridiculous that you wont cover womens wrestling. These ladies work just as harsh as our mens teams in training. These are not silly little cat fights, these ladies are nit playing around. These women are technical, tuff, fierce and fearless, pioneers in their sport. You would be wise to cover this side of wrestling just as much as the guys side of wrestling as these ladies not only pioneer through, but rise to the top of the ladder in this sport.

I'm signing this because I get a daily subscription and I believe that all high school sports should be covered. Revenue is lost if you don't.
