This goes for all sports. There is no reason they can't publish the info. The coaches do all the work by calling it into the paper.

Grrrr. Long been a sore subject even with the Lynden Tribune for years!

Girls wrestling is just as important as boys wrestling. So what's the difference on covering both boys and girls?

Equality.

They need the coverage.

if we can work as hard as the boys do, we deserve as much recognition as they do regardless if the people want to hear it or not. equality is what they want and gender discrimination is what they are getting. Females deserve the praise that the males receive and personally as a female athlete it kinda sucks knowing its all about the boys sports and we mean nothing when we accomplish just as much and if not more.

I'd like to see all girls sports some coverage

Equal opportunity! Wrestling girls work just as hard as boys day in and day out at practice and at meets!

Lose then discrimination. Girls should be just as recognized as guys. Considering there are girls who wrestle like men and can beat men.

If the press covers the boys, they should do the same for the girls. This shows prejudice otherwise.

I myself was a wrestler. I believe that girls should be able to be in the bellingham herald.

All teams deserve equal coverage

All programs should be evenly covered even just call in with box scores and the occasional features.

So disappointed with the lack of coverage on our local kids, especially female sports. Shame on you Bellingham Herald

Supporting all high school athletics is important, not selecting male over female.

Girls wrestling is huge in our state and deserves the same coverage and boys.
