The proposed 6 story development will eliminate the privacy and sunlight of Glen rd. Residences completely. 6 stories backing onto residential houses is a terrible idea.

Westdale is a unique planned, walkable community that needs to be preserved. Overdevelopment strains the infrastructure, affects the flow of traffic and parking availability.
Also, some consideration should be given to making apartment living available in Westdale to all ages not just students.

The character and nature of “small home” Westdale is why I moved to this neighbourhood. Ugly, overbuilt structures are neither fitting nor desirable in our “village”.

Westdale the gem neighbourhood of Hamilton is slowly being eaten up by McMaster University. It has to be stopped or this historic neighbourhood will be forever lost !!!

This proposal for a residence tower in an established subdivision is so ludicrous that I'm convinced no councilor in Hamilton will support it.

We do not need this much student housing off campus in a family neighborhood. Why not downtown instead?

Westdale is not just anyplace. It is one of the first planned subdivisions in North America, with a unique design that is "human scale". We should be planning more areas to reflect this design, rather than destroying this unique character and turning it into what you would see anywhere. McMaster has expanded beyond capacity. That growth should be stopped. It comes at the expense of the surrounding neighbourhood. I beg City Council to show some foresight. Capitalize on the character of Westdale, don't destroy it.

Westdale is a beautiful place, with exceptional character. It would be a shame to loose that for the sake of a project or two. Please preserve Westdale.

Help preserve our community and history in Westdale. The proposed developments do not compliment our village in any way shape or form.
