The state has been collecting tax money on Atv/dirtbikes for decades. Promising legal riding areas. They still have yet to provide any area to ride. This is the one and only place any with an “Off-road” registered motorcycle can legally ride. How many legal hiking and walking trails are in the state?

Please keep the one legal spot for dirt bikes open. This is the only place my family and I have to ride in CT. Closing this will definitely disappoint my kids and also cause the money spent in CT to now be spent out of state

With as many trails and paths that are available now for pedestrian use, it would be an absolute crime to take away one of the only legal places for people to ride.

We have many walking areas already available between black rock, the town track, thomaston dam landmine area, and other beautiful areas like white memorial minutes away. Please keep this available for the dirt bikers!

My son and I spend countless hours a year riding at Thomaston Dam. There are plenty of walking trails in CT, to turn one of the only legal places to ride would be cruel. Let us enjoy the one legal place to ride and let the walkers have their hundred of walking trails.

By disallowing off road vehicles at this location, you are taking away one of our last remaining areas in the northeast to ride off road. This will likely lead to illegal riding, and will kill the joy of many outdoor enthusiasts. There are already SO many places for people to hike in the area, please don’t take away our chosen way of connecting with nature.

Don't need 1 continuous Green trail. I have used many trails, in line skating, biking, jogging, One starts somewhere, and at a point,1/2 way, one, must turn around and head back to where one parked. Exclude the Thomaston Dam.
