Legal off-road riding is a scarce resource in CT. We need more, not less. Go take a look back at Public Act 86-249, S.3. from 1986, and see how the State has failed to address this recreational need. Removing legal riding areas just leads people to ride where it's not sanctioned. Hikers have vastly more options in this state. Please save the Thomaston off-road area. Thank you.

Let us ride. There is a abundance of hiking trails in ct we don't need more. Let's convert some of them to legal riding trails.

We need more legal property to enjoy our sport. My suggestion is to use the space needed to make the greenway elsewhere !

Please consider keeping Thomaston Dam as an ATV area. I pay property tax and registration fees to keep my bike and sons bike registered in CT and this is literally the only place in the state where we can ride.

Honestly, there are a million places to walk folks! There is essentially ONE to ride dirt bikes in the entire State. Kids and adult off-road motorcyclist also need a place in CT. Another reason, amongst many, why so many are just leaving.

there only 2 Legal places to ride in CT
this is one of them ,we all come from all points in CT to enjoy what Thomaston Dam has offer - I travel From Lebanon CT - always enjoy supporting the local business and restaurants as well
