This state needs to give the people that follow the rules a break for once.

It’s a great place with a lot of great people. I rode with my daughter there back in the late 80s, and I take my grandchildren there now.

Enjoy riding Thomaston for over 25 years I have many hiking & mtn biking options in Ct but only 1 place to ride off road motorcycles

Starting riding at the dam when I was a kid, took my skills from riding the dam NESC were I raced and learned life skills that can’t be replaced. Don’t take this always from our kids and families. Feature it and make it a reason to stay in CT not another reason to leave.

The dam is one of the few legal places to ride in ct. it’s bad enough that the DEEP has never made any legal trails which they were supposed to for years. The dam CAN NOT be taken away!

I've been riding at this location since i was little. It was an instrumental part of my youth, so many memories here.
There's lots of other places for walking paths, but there's only one Thomaston dam. Connecticut has removed all other public riding lands. Don't take this away from us!

We have been riding here for many years and have enjoyed a lot of family memories there. There are more than enough "walking trails" throughout the state, why take away the ONE legal riding place in Connecticut.

Dear Senator and Selectman,
Please retain the OHV riding area at Thomaston Dam, it is one of the only legal places to ride off road within the fantastic state of Connecticut.
Walking paths can coexist by utilizing other areas nearby.

I have been traveling from Middletown to Thomason 3-6 times a week during the open season to ride for 2 decades now. Losing the dam would be a huge blow to the ct off road community and just promotes illegal riding and trespassing. It would be devastating to not be able to teach my son to ride at the dam.

Please do not eliminate what tiny amount of land we have left to ride in. This will only further exacerbate problems of trespassing etc.
