Removing another location where people can legally ride will only push even more people onto the streets causing further issues for law enforcement. CT has hundreds of miles of trails all over the state, but very very few areas like this where people can actually ride. Please don't take it away.

Please preserve this precious space for off road riding. There are numerous preserves in CT where people can walk and hike but very little space for off road riding.

This is crazy. How much more do they need. There is no we’re to ride. We pay taxes for the bikes every year and registration fees. Now you guys want to take trails away. That’s why there’s so many people riding on the street.

We have so many walking paths in CT. Keep a designated trail for riders. Designated trails also keep down on illegal riding. We’ve had so many places shut down over the years, the only place left is the dam.

The attempt to disrupt legal riding areas only furthers the problem of riding in unauthorized areas. Just like all the trails in ct, it is the riders that make the trails, and groom the trails ensuring safe riding areas and removing debris. The arrogant idea that you can take something and simply decide it belongs to a different sport demographic (hikers,joggers) is unfounded. Keep the walking to other areas. Connecticut is saturated with thousands of walking and hiking trails.

Please preserve the Thomaston Dam as an off-road motorcycle area and opt for an alternative route for the Naugatuck River Greenway. Thank you.

This is nuts what till the town have to do spend money to have the area cleaned every time it floods ????? That are crazy to even do this it will bring no income to the town at all anyone who goes to these places just goes walks and goes home !

The dam provides for legal off road riding. If we don’t have a legal place to ride, do they want us to ride illegally instead. And aren’t there already plenty of walking paths.
