Keep Thomaston Dam open to riding.

People have plenty of places in CT for walking. There are almost no places for riding anymore. Converting to a walking path will just force people to ride illegally, since we have already paid for (and paid taxes on) out off road equipment.

There's billions of miles of hiking trails and very limited amounts of legal offroad use dirtbike trails

Keep Thomaston Dam open for off road riding. There are enough walking paths existing in CT and a severe shortage of off road areas.

Thomaston Dam was a getaway for me for years when I lived in NYC. I borught those NYC dollars to CT and spent them at the local eateries and gas stations. It's a draw for motorcyclists from all over the northeast looking for somewhere legal to ride. Precious few places like that anymore. Don't lose out on those tourist dollars. Don't close the dam to off-roaders.

Let CT residents have an area legal to ride offroad. The media and policos comain about orv operation on city streets, closing this will make it worse. Nature boys have plenty of areas to enjoy. They can hike elsewhere.

Plenty of parks and places for people to walk.
Not enough place for people to ride off-road .
