There need to be legal places for the dirt bike community to ride. There are plenty of trails for people to walk.

A big "NO" to converting the Dam into a walking path. This is really the only legal place in CT for kids and families to ride and enjoy the great outdoors.

If we take this away from riders, we will see more illegal riding on the streets which posses a threat to riders and drivers. Thomaston has a nice track for people to walk on, and surrounding areas already have beautiful nature walk places like white memorial.

I’ve ridden here as a kid and it’s awesome to see the next generation growing up on two wheels. We’ve already had the ONLY public motocross track closed down the end of 2017 so if this facility is shut down to motorcycles there will be almost nowhere to ride in Connecticut legally.

Hope they give us some consideration. There are alternatives to where the walking trail goes. Is this a way for ppl that dont like dirt bikes to get rid of us?
