If you close the dam I will personally ride on every public road with no thought before hand. And I'm sure thousands will agree. You're lawn will be a race track within 12 hours of making the wrong decision

Me and my family have been riding at Thomaston Dam for years and we are limited to where we can legally ride it is very limited for dirtbikers in the area for riding trails but hikers and bicyclists have endless options unlike dirt bike riders, so please consider sparing one of the few places we have left to legally ride our dirt bikes in the area.

This is not a good idea to make part of the Thomaston Damn for hiking. It is very unsafe.
Honestly it is just the first step to take it from the riders.

This is one of the only places to legally ride in CT. There are ample walking paths throughout CT.

There will be no reason to register an off road motorcycle if there is no legal place to ride it. How much tax and dmv revenue will be lost?

Public motorcycle riding is very limited in Connecticut
Public walking areas are much more common
Please here are request 2 retain this area' and add other state land 4 the recreational use of motorcycle riding

Hometown stomping grounds.. don't lose this fun area and ruin business's income..people travel to this small town to ride and make friends and enjoy good food.

There are tons of walking and hiking trails. Why would you take 1 of the few off road riding trails in CT.
