Many great rides and memories there. Only legal state land anywhere on this side of the state. A million places to walk. Save it for bikes!!

This is yet another initiative to push out people that have enjoyed areas for years/decades, and all of a sudden someone decides they can't use it anymore...

The government should be protecting all interests and finding a balance. Removing the only legal place to ride in Western CT is not a balance.

I have used this area to ride with my friends and family since it opened.There are so few places to ride our trail bikes.Closing this would be a huge loss.

There are more than enough walking trails in Connecticut . There is practically no public land set aside for off road motorcycles

The dam is only open for riding from April or may through the end of October and anyone is free to walk during those months as well. The rest of the year is “ motorcycle free”. With this being one of the only legal areas to ride in the state of CT, common sense and compassion for other peoples interests says keep the dam open for the riders.

There are tons of hiking and walking areas all over CT. This area should remain open as it is really the only are in CT left to ride, it hurts NO ONE as proven for decades, and provides real family enjoyment legally.

If the state of Connecticut is going to sell motocross bikes and tax us on them, then they also need to provide us a place to ride them
