Converting this to a pedestrian only path is a terrible idea. These trails should continue to be open for use by off-roaders as there are so few trails/areas that are in the state of CT.

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous there is still talk of this! There is nowhere to ride in CT! How about making some nice riding trials and have those who chose to ride (legally somewhere for once) register their off road vehicles! State makes money and riders have a legit place to go. Smarten up already!!

I used to ride every week at the Thomaston dam 30 years ago. Is it a great place to meet new friends and old and enjoy the outdoors, And one of the few places around to this day to ride legally. It should remain in its current state to continue to provide an outlet for those that ride. There are hundreds of miles of hiking trails in and around Thomaston alone, but very limited for dirt bikes. Thank you

Please consider an alternative path and keep this for the off road enthusiasts. We already have too many riders taking to the streets riding illegally due to lack of availabile off road riding areas. Thank you.
