There are plenty of places to walk in ct. if you want a safe place for people can legally ride don’t take it away!

Closing down the damn for off road riding is only going to push people into riding in illegal places. There are countless places in throughout CT to hike and walk and so very few places for people to ride without traveling hours out of state.

Walking paths are everywhere, and walking is not restricted. To take away one of the last places where people can ride (legally) in Connecticut is a shame. Please vote in opposition to a walking path that limits a place to ride off road.

Hello, currently my boys (6&7 years old) enjoy riding our dirt bikes LEGALLY at the Thomaston Dam. If the Dam closes we wont have anywhere to LEGALLY ride our dirt bikes. I understand people want a walking trail through that area, but people can LEGALLY walk anywhere in the state they want, the dam is our only LEGAL option for riding dirt bikes. Please reconsider shutting down the only legal place to ride dirt bikes in the state to accommodate a trail for walking, which can be done anywhere in the state. Thank you.
