As a volunteer, former board member, and a shareholder of the Minnesota Food Association, I know first-hand the magic of the Wilder Forest landscape and the power of MFA's connections cultivated in the community, in education, public health, cultural, food systems ++

As a former staff person at Wilder Forest, it is easy to recognize the importance of keeping this "island" of land undeveloped and available for people to experience.

They have demonstrated through their long history and productive work on behalf of the environment and local food system, that they possess the passion, experience and vision to carefully and effectively steward the rich biodiversity and broad educational opportunities that abound in the Wilder Forest conservation area.
