Green space in RF is a premium and we need to protect each and every tree that will provide us with years of beauty and shade.

None of the trees should be cut. Plan around them but do not cut the trees to put in a parking lot.

Please, keep the trees, for they are such a positive part of our community.

These trees were there for me to play under as a kid and are a big part of the school's beauty for my daughter, who is a current student. I support anything that will preserve them for future generations. I've heard there are alternatives that require only two trees to be removed instead of nine. Has this been considered?

I agree that something should be done to alter the proposed plan to eliminate a large portion of the open space and mature trees but I support the renovations to the building.

I have visited the DMS site, and aided by the BCPS's Forest Conservation Plan, I am astonished by it's wholesale devestation.

We are trying to teach children about sustainability and strive to make our schools greener so preserving the setting is the only choice.

Decisions in this community should be based on THIS community's values. We value our trees.

Does not add up....removing 9 trees for 17 parking spaces, where the overwhelming majority of students walk? where's the sense in it?

The county executive just adopted new goals for tree canopy cover. These tree removals violate county policy.

Any plan that destroys the open space and kills the mature trees will certainly not be an improvement to the school or the community.

No real conversation with community. Dr Dallas is portraying himself like a man of the people. He is just another empty suit. Speaks out both sides of his mouth and does seem to care what the people who actually use the space and the school think. Just like those above is in those positions. Why is it they always tell us what is best for us. Guess we just aren't smart enough to figure it out ourselves.....

I remember climbing those trees as a child. Please consider all the memories you would be erasing by taking them down!
