It is heartbreaking to watch the small town character of Hopkinton diminish because of over development and over population. This is not progress.

This would be a horrid situation and would endanger human lives as well as the many deer and other wildlife that live in those woods. Planning Board should plan for proper and safe expansion of this town. The cut through would make make both of the streets involved safety hazards. Shame on the planners!

Residents are going to suffer for the development of one builder and he and only he will profit from this. That's criminal. If the town approves this it appalling. Development is out of control in this town. Sad state of affairs in Hopkinton.

Please reconsider combining these streets. Many things will change, but one will be the traffic that whizzes down Chamberlain to bypass downtown. This street is NOT set up to handle a steady traffic flow. It is densely residential, there are no sidewalks, and it will become an "easy" street to go over the speed limit due to its "run way" feel.

We moved here a year ago from out of state and chose Hopkinton to raise our young family out of all the other towns because of the small town aspect/feel. Please protect that!

I can understand and appreciate growth, but I hope town officials will appreciate the quality of life for the residents of Whalen Road and Chamberlain Street, as well as adjoining neighborhoods. This would mean a SIGNIFICANT increase of traffic NEVER intended for these small streets. I hope everyone will continue to voice their objections. Thank you.

The option to maintain the cut de sacs and the wetlands is a win-win. That will keep thousands of people happy, including the new ones moving in.

I grew up in sleepy Framingham MA in the 60s and 70s. I moved to Hopkinton in 1983 because it was a sleepy little town focused on community values, but close to all major routes for commuting. Please, please, please do not make Hopkinton another Framingham with such massive building that we loose the neighborly feel.
