This is a rare and lovely site, important to wildlife, that will be treasured by generations to come as a public park.

Preserving this island treasure is in everyone’s interest. Yet another valued aquifer-recharge area that is still intact. Dozens of mature trees that are still standing to clean our island’s air while providing cover and a unique space for all, including wildlife, to explore. And so much more. This valued property should be retained for all, for generations to come.

Please consider the future of this island and the natural beauty that remains. This precious of land should be preserved for the future of coming generations. We need long term vision when we consider what kind of an island we wish to pass on.

As a twenty year resident of the Island I am greatly concerned with the issues of preserving and or green space as a public amenity, particularly as it relates to the Winslow Urban core. As we push for residential density in the core it is incumbent upon us to to do with a focus on live ability and walk ability. Preserving this property in its current state as a public amenity would go a long way towards that goal.

Preserving a natural landscape contiguous with the Winslow core is a wise and productive use of this city-owned acreage now, and even more so for the future.

Please preserve this property as a park. Bainbridge is special because it is full of nature not housing developments. The rural nature of the Island makes it unique. More housing developments would make it just like every other sprawling suburb.

Please preserve this space and protect it from development. All meetings on the topic have been dominated by the developers and the city virtually shutting the public down

Please preserve this beautiful parcel of land as a publicly-owned park, the character of this island is being irrevocably changed for the worse. And adding all that additional traffic and congestion around the majority of the island schools makes absolutely no sense for the safety and well being of our wonderful community.

We have already had too many clear-cut developments downtown, This is a wonderful (and rare) chance to preserve our wildlife, wetlands, and trees.

I fully support preserving the Suzuki property as a public park. The property belongs to the citizens of Bainbridge Island and should remain in public ownership.

Preservation is the sustainable and environmentally correct thing to do to for our children's future. Development brings congestion, traffic, high density, waste generation taxes and a strain on City services (all requiring g more development!). R. Black, Bainbridge Island

I love how Bainbridge wants to make those of us from Los Angeles feel like we are back home by cutting down all of the trees and putting up parking lots /housing. It is so thoughtful but really YOU DON'T HAVE TO.

Bainbridge needs to stop high density development NOW! The island's character is being irrevocably changed into something the vast majority of residents do not want.
