As public spaces diminish under pressures of development, please keep Sakai in public hands and protected as open space. Thank you for listening to our voices!

This property should be preserved as open space. High density and other development should be kept to the core area, in and around Winslow.

Currently owned by city. How much money spent to purchase open space last few years. This would be free. Shouldn't even be a question. Just preserve it.

We need to preserve this land as open space and focus on affordable housing in the real core, so we have a walkable, diverse community hub with density and not more un-affordable housing that increases car traffic and wastes our opportunities for preservation of natural habitat and strains our infrastructure at a cost to the city not the developers.

We need to preserve the Suzuki property as a publicly owned park as so much of authentic Bainbridge slips away little by little.

Please listen to the community and preserve this property as open space before Bainbridge Island turns into a place we no longer recognize.

WE need more parks less development. Why sell more of our wonderful island to developers when the city owns the property and it could benefit all residents for years to come .

Do the right thing for a change Bainbridge City Council and preserve our rapidly dwindling wetlands and wildlife habitat.

Preserve the open space with as little modification as possible to allow access to nature. Once the open space is gone it will be gone forever. Other uses maybe worthy but much lower priority and not on the Suzuki property.

It's a wonderful, close-in piece of peace that could help many of us decompress.

This definitely needs to be preserved for the remaining wild life. There is already developed which stand vacant. This is a travesty.

It would be penny wise and pound foolish to do anything other than keep this land public. Please work with the Park District on a plan for this land.

Developers. Do your homework before you present us with totally unworkable plans. City Council. Adhere to the principles you have proposed for a more livable island. Pick a more suitable site for your beloved affordable housing.

Too priceless to develop, and will be more so as the years go by.
