It is doing a serious disservice to the children to bus them that far everyday on crooked mountainous roads. The board needs to do what is right for the kids, Not try to save money in the short run. These kids will waste so much time on buses and they will be exhausted from lack of sleep just to get to school on time. Studies show that kids and teenagers need more sleep than they get, not less. And, when an wreck happens transporting those kids that far everyday, there will no one to blame but the board for not putting the safety of these kids first.
