Consolidation is not the answer but a sense of community bonding is. Please do not consolidate.

My youngest son will probably go to 6th grade in the pods, but I want him to graduate from the new state-of-the-art Richwood High School. 6-12. It doesn't make sense to close 5 different schools down to build 2 huge ones where a lot of kids will get lost in the cracks. Not to mention that 2 of those schools were not damaged by the floods. Please keep the schools I the communities that they're supposed to be in. This county is too big to go to just one school. Thank you.

This town has been hurt enough. Please don't take our schools. Smaller schools are proven better for children.

I'm a graduate of Richwood High class of 88! My son is also a graduate class of 2010! It's extremely important to community!

I hear from so many that their opinion is Richwood is only fighting to keep the schools to keep the town alive. That is a gross misrepresentation of our fight. We want to keep our schools because they belong in our community. They were there for 100 years before the flood, and do not deserve to be taken away after. Some have ran fast and far away from Richwood, but there are those that do not have the same plan. I sign this petition today because we deserve to have our schools just as we did before the flood. My future kids deserve to graduate from the same alma mater as many have done for so many years before!

Please keep Richwood High and Richwood Middle school in Richwood! This town needs a place to educate kids and keep the Richwood Spirit ALIVE! Consolidation can look great on a piece of paper but may not always be the best choice for the community. This community needs a school and the children, if not for the school what else will keep people coming in to town? Keep Richwood High and Middle Schools in Richwood!
