Nicholas County Schools should not be consolidated on behave of all students in both schools. I am a 2012 graduate of Nicholas County high school and I more than support keeping the schools separate on behave of all students, Richwood is my hometown where my family and myself share several memories in the town of Richwood. Punishing our town after a tragedy is what it would be like to us if we consolidated the two schools. Richwood is more than a school, it's a family, we cherish the moments from generation to generation that we all have shared. Please consider us. Richwood will be gone, if this happens. We deserve a chance.

To dissolve Richwood High School would be destroying a national recognized School. The Lumberjack Expreas is k own all over the United States. To take this away from our kids, the kids long before them , and the kids left to come is outrageous ! To combine the two schools would create a school divided. This will create term oil and anger amount the students. If it works, don't mess with it. Richwood has always worked.

Richwood is a proud community that deserves to keep their schools. The flood didn't destroy this city, but losing their schools will.

I do not live in Richwood, however I have worked in Richwood for about 20 years. Consolidation is a mistake! The children that attend the schools in Richwood receive much more than just a great education, they receive community values. This small little town is packed full of friendliness, the people are wholesome, with family values and have a strong love for their community. The children will only be hurt by this consolidation, some of the parents of these children do not have transportation, how are they going to be able to transport their children to after school activities, or attend them themselves. These children will miss out on more opportunities. They deserve to keep their schools. There is money already allocated to build these schools. The Superintendent should not be trying to consolidate these schools to benefit the elite few.
I stand Richwood Strong! Do not consolidate!

Consolidation is NEVER in the best interests of the students just those that are in a position to profit off a tragedy.
