We love this park for our dogs. Please keep it for the Animals and people to get a bit of nature without driving forever.

Bikes have a place to ride at almost every single park in Wichita. Horses have one!

It will be a shame to lose the only horse trail left in the area.

I have ridden this trail many times and really enjoyed it. There is no way that bicycles should be on the same trails as horses. Please keep it for just the horses.

I think the trails should be left for horse as it was meant to be. No bikes.

Improvements to these existing equine trails and parking areas would greatly be appreciated. Making the bridges wider, that cross the cowskin creek, would be a "safety issue" improvement for the equine riders.
How do you propose to completely segregate the bike trails from the equine trails on such a small acreage?

My wife and love this park. Lately we haven't because of all the drama. I won't risk my safety nor my horse's safety if bikes are allowed into Pawnee Prairie.

Horses and bikes cannot share the park for safety reasons. Keep it the way it is.

Horses and bikes don't mix well on those blind corner trails. Accidents will happen.

I have driven to PPP many times from out of town to enjoy the ride with local friends. Keep it safe for horse and rider.

Bicycles have the entire city, please leave Pawnee Prairie for the horses as it was intended.

I'm in favor of a bridge on the very north end to allow access to Air Cap for the very few in that area. OR, just allow bikes in PPP at night only.

Keep the Trails at Pawnee Prairie for horses only. Cyclists and walker/runners have their own paths already.

I lived in Wichita since 1979 and have been riding horses at Pawnee prairie park since then. Recently retired to Manhattan but drive back to meet friends to ride at the park. This has been an ongoing argument about horses and bikes. Two simple points. Horses and bikes in woods and tall grasses do NOT mix. Horses are prey animals and will spook or kick out when surprised. They are numerous places for bicyclists to ride in city and county. Not so for horses.

The trust specifically outlined the authorized use of the property... Period... End of story. Bikes and horses don't belong together!
Please don't take our equestrian park away!!!
