So many fond memories of PPP. It's scary when I'm walking along a path and a bike comes zipping by unexpectedly. I can't imagine what it would be like on horseback. Pawnee Prairie Park is a gem of Wichita and it would be a shame to have the experience ruined by inconsiderate bikers.

Long time user and have had encounters with bikes in other places. This place was not designed for bike traffic. To make changes for safety for mixing bikes and horses will defeat the purpose of it remaining a nature park. Wildlife will be driven out with the horses.

Please leave the park as it is. We enjoy walking with our small dogs and talking to the horse riders. Bike riders have plenty of other choices.

Please keep these trails for the horses. I had the opportunity to actual hear Irene talk about this land and her love for its use by other equine riders. She would most likely roll over in her grave to see "WHEELS" on the trails.

Keep Pawnee Prairie for the horses! Bikes and horses do not mix and someone will get hurt. Bikes have plenty of other places to ride.

Many years ago I worked at Pawnee Prairie and led trail rides. Please keep the park open for equestrian use.

It is not right to squeeze out the horse riders and put them in the areas with hardly any trees or beautiful nature areas to view. Bicycles have trails where we can not ride. Why must we give up the ONLY horse trail in this county???

The bike riders have 100's of miles of trails to ride around Wichita. They even have the Air Capital Park. The equestrian's have only this one park. It seems unfair and unbalanced that the bike riders should have ALL the trails. Please keep this park for nature and for the hikers and equestrians. For safety reasons horses and bikes do not mix. Please keep Pawnee Prairie safe and keep these trails as Irene intended them for: horses.

You can not have a horse trails and bike trails in this 625 acres it's not big enough, you will next have to make it ADA compliant and the nature and horses will be gone forever and that would be a sin against Gods nature. We pay more than our fair share of taxes and we should have one place in all of Wichita we can enjoy.

Bicycles have a labyrinth of trails in and around Wichita. Please leave Pawnee Prairie as an area for people who enjoy the outdoors to not have to dodge them.

Bikes and horses do not mix! There are many parks and other places for people to ride their bikes. Where are there designated places to ride horses.

I have trained 2 horses to trail ride & have ridden them there for the last 20+ years. It is the only horse park of its kind in this region. The closest similar horse park is 2 hrs away. It is too small to have bikers using horse paths due to safety issues. Please do not allow this to occur as you will be causing unnecessary liability for the county & tax payers.

No bikes. Too many families with small children walk the northwest paths off Carrwood St and would be in danger

Bicycle riders have so many venues available. Horse riders do not. Please keep our only Equestrian park, and keep it bicycle free for safety reasons.

I enjoy riding at Pawnee Prairie Park. Please keep the equestrian trails for equestrian use. A cyclist suddenly apprearing on trail, whether coming towards the horse or from behind him, is too often a recipe for a horse-wreck.

Please make safety for horses, equestrians, hikers and bikers the priority. Keep bikes off the trails.

Irene and Marsh are the reason I became interested in trail riding almost 40 yrs. ago. I am blessed to be able to continue to ride at the age I imagine they were when I first met them. Bicyclists have a right to ask the city to expand an area for use of their mountain bikes. However, I suggest the city expand another park for these trail bike, not the one and only park that allows horses.
