I think they should just leave the park alone!!!!!!

PPP should remain, as it has for many years, as a quiet, natural place for hikers and riders. In the interest of safety, to horses, their riders, and bicyclists, it is in poor taste to attempt to combine them. The city offers an abundant number of locations to enjoy riding bikes as a family or by oneself. Leave this one and only historic trail riding park as it is, and has been, for generations.

Cyclists have numerous places to go. The people that donated this park did so to give horse riders a local place to enjoy their horse.

Mountain bikes and horses are not a good mix unless every one involved takes the time, at the time to do a correct training method and this is not going to happen. I've seen too many times the bike whizzes by and is gone and nd the horse blows up, throws the rider who is injured and the horse runs off. Biker is oblivious.

I grew up having horses and we used to ride in the park every other weekend! Best years of my life! I would hate to see that taken away from younger generations!

I do not want bikes at PPP. I ride there with my horses and there are few enough horse trails as it ism bikes can go a lot of other places horses cannot. Let us have our horse trails.

We love riding out there. We woukd hate for the bikes to come. It would not be safe for the horse riders. Bikers have lots of other places to ride. This place was to be for horse riders.

I am not an equestrian, but in my opinion, they should be allowed to keep their park. There are bike trails, running trails and tracks, and dog parks all over the city. Why should equestrians not have the same consideration?

I live in the area and like to hike the trails with my nephews and low that the horses have a safe trail to ride on. Please preserve it the way it was intended.

This is a beautiful place where nature is at its best. Bikes a tiny vehicles with small wheels that do a lot of damage. Please leave these trails as they are. I use to ride horses as a kid in the park and enjoyed every bit of nature. My son now does and I would hate for him to lose that as a childhood memory.

I have been a riding enthusiast at Pawnee Prairie for many years. Riders of all ages can feel safe as they ride and enjoy the beauty of God's creation. Biker riders would be a major safety issue to riders and their horses on the beautiful trails at PPP.
