Developers are only concerned with ROI. They don't have to live with the aftermath!

No development in residential areas.

It might be to late, I watched the last board meeting and looks like they are on Lewis”s side on the project just waiting for the money to cross their palms

We MUST control development in our valley. More storage sheds are not wanted.

Ogden Valley needs a moratorium on storage units until suitable zoning for this type of development can be addressed. Storage units lock up land that could add value to residents as open space or even useful commercial services or housing. I am opposed to more storage units unless they are in industrial areas. Storage units also atheistically don't fit into the landscape.

Stop these storage units

There is not enough water and other infrastructure to allow for this. Just say no!

We need more park, and less city.

No commercial development in residential zoned neighborhoods

This reckless and outrageous. We are in drought conditions. Wolf Creek Water has already told us, even before watering season, that there will be a shortage of water. Our water rates are going up. We are restricted to what time we can water, what days we can water and how much we can water. And yet, they want to add more units to further burden the water resources. Or are they lying to us , forcing us to ration and pay more so they can subsidize and support more units on the existing water supply?

Just some things to think about: Village Zone should not be in a residential zone. It should be adjacent to its commercial zone. Period! The Eagle Crest plan substantially increases the number of high-density housing units by our neighborhoods. The developer John Lewis is wanting to build 112 units (4500 people a month) with short-term rentals in our community. We have 1200 short term rentals at this time and 32 licenses. Weber county is not able to manage licenses in Ogden Valley. Developer John Lewis also includes 193 storage units large enough for residential, boats and RV’s by our neighborhoods. Currently we have one dump out for waste in boats and RVs in Huntsville, and they are on septic. This is just a deep pocket tactic because we are short on water. This will have a direct impact on our community, our traffic patterns, our law enforcement, our dark sky ordinances, our watershed, our wildlife, our public safety, and our crime rate. Our Weber County Sheriff’s department has 40 openings. Safety is an issue, and they are already struggling up here with all they must accomplish. Recently, I was told if someone passes me on a blind curve to call 801-778-6602 and they will stop them, and I can sign the ticket. How will you connect an 80 foot road to a 25 mph 2 lane on 4100 N? The beauty of living in the valley is that it is still a small town without obstructing it’s natural surroundings. These units are going open the floodgates for many problems to come. It’s simply not worth allowing.
