I'd love to see my favorite movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang selected on the National Film Registry. It is one of the best movies in my opinion and Dick Van Dyke did a good job in it. I'd like to see it preserved and be called a historic important piece of artwork. It's a great movie and I feel like it deserves recognition in the Library of Congress.

This movie was a huge part of my childhood. How is it not in the registry yet?? It makes no sense to ignore such a classic.

When I saw the NFR list, I was stunned that "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" was conspicuously absent from it. A truly monumental film in the lives of so many people, it is inexcusable that it should not included.
This movie was a huge part of my childhood. How is it not in the registry yet?? It makes no sense to ignore such a classic.
