Please keep Mrs Ong as Ridgecrest Chinese teacher and preserve the Chinese language program at PVPUSD !! Our son grew from an indifferent student of Chinese (from numerous weekend Chinese classes in OC) to a very enthusiastic Chinese learner thanks to the wonderful teaching of Mrs. Ong . I completely credit Mrs Ong and her engaging teaching style with our son developing a true appreciation for the Chinese language and culture .

My son has been looking forward to beginning Chinese language at Penn High School. It's one of the reasons we stay in the district. Please make sure it remains available.

Please consider the increases in academic success that have been proven to occur in children allowed to study secondary languages, and the richness of Mandarin and the global advantages to children (all people) who learn Mandarin!

It is crucial to start learning Chinese early so students can acquire the different tones.
Learning and practicing everyday is necessary in learning the language.
With China being the second largest economy in the world ability to communicate in Chinese is essential living in the 21st century.
