I spend a lot of time at my Families cabin on County Y every summer, and have for my whole life. Already the traffic on the road has gotten busier and heavier, it is not really safe to walk the road like it used to be. I live close to a major tourist area and the traffic is a nightmare in the summer, there is also a HUGE influx into the local hospitals all summer long. Please keep Big Wood Lake a haven and don't turn it into a tourist mecca.

Our family land on the Wood River and Wood Lake Road has been in the Wedin Family for well over 100 years.
The many descendants of the 9 children of Andrew and Alfrida have enjoy the lake and river during their yearly vacations. My grandparents, Andrew and Alfrida Wedin acquired the land in 1897. We do not want the character of the lake changed!
We thank the more recent users of the lake for their efforts which are very much appreciate.

This lake is too small to have a commercial enterprise on it!! This will destroy water quality, fishing and atmosphere!

Our cabin has been on Big Wood Lake for 30 years this spring. This lake already gets high traffic from townspeople, given its size. Adding this many homes to the small lake will kill the fishing and enjoyment of water recreation.

Former member of Luther Point staff 1998-2005 summer staff, program coordinator and resident year round for 5 years. The commercial RV park would cause stress environmentally and in safety for all lake residents.

As a former camp counselor at Luther Point Bible Camp for three summers, this area is special and sacred. There is an innocence and calm at Wood Lake that allows for plugged-in youth to step back and focus on their faith and their purpose in life. Please consider a thorough study of the impact a commercial campground on the lake would have on the environment, the residents, and LPBC in the ways of conservation, resources, and safety.

For the size of this projected RV park, for the potential disastrous consequences it could have on the water, on the land, on the social culture of the lake and the safety of others, and on the overall future of Big Wood Lake, I am opposed to the changing of the zoning laws governing this property.
