We've owned our property since early 1970's. I'm worried about the increased traffic not only on the lake, but also on the boat landing. I feel the strain on fish population will be a concern. The increased noise and environmental issues also should be of a great concern.

As a resident of the lake for over 40 years, I am NOT in favor of this development.
The proposed plans would increase traffic on the lake to undesirable levels. I am worried about the environmental impact of this as well as the congestion at the boat landing.

I have been going to my family's cabin on Big Wood Lake every summer since I was born. I am very concerned about the lake if a conditional permit is issued without a comprehensive plan or environmental impact study.

I love going up to my aunt and uncle's cabin for some peaceful getaway time. It's beautiful and quiet. An RV park would ruin all of that.

I am a visitor to the lake for years. It seems that the proposal would cause a lot of stress on the lake and infrastructure surrounding it.

I grew up on this lake. The addition of an rv park can not be supported and will negatively impact the eco system of the lake.

Not in favor of this type of development for our beloved Wood Lake. As a member of the Wedin Family whose descendants have lived near this lake for over a Century it is as much a part of our heritage as the original homesteaded properties are. We value the quiet lake and area. Since I was a young girl I would walk to the lake Spring Summer Fall Winter for swimming, fishing, picnics, and reminiscing. My children have done the same and I hope their children will be able to do the same and enjoy the simple pleasures of the lake. There would be no benefit for year round and seasonal residents , but of course they would pay the price in taxes, assessments, increased traffic etc.
I’m still adapting/adjusting to the Burnett Dairy change...miss the old charm of the old store.

Zoning and land use changes require significant study, discussion, communication, and consequently time. All of this should take place with the large "picture" in mind, not only a specific project .

This lake has been a refuge for my husband since he was a boy. Now, it is a magical place that we share with our children. It is quiet, peaceful, and serene. We worry this RV Park will bring invasive species, pollution, noise, and alter the existing environment, culture and community of Big Wood Lake.
