I support the notes put forward by Messeurs Burrows et al. The flats should not be built in its current plans.

I am very upset to learn that permission for such a development could be granted.
I am and have always been in awe of this uniquely beautiful landmark and I'm horrified that schemes of this heikght and size can be allowed

I know Arundel and it is a very beautiful English town which is well known in southern England and I visit every time l get the chance to.
The proposed development will damage the views of the castle/cathedral and make the town less pretty to visit .
I agree with the petition that Arundel must be preserved and protected.

Keep Arundel quaint and inviting a scheme of this size is not unfitting with the local area & parking already an issue with visitors will become further strained having an affect on tourism and trade!

I totally object to this development going ahead. Arundel needs more affordable housing for the younger generation.

Turning Arundel in to an OAP ghetto and driving out young families! We don't need more retirement homes.

Affordable housing is needed in Arundel, do not spoil its historic beauty and tranquility by building housing out of character. Any new development must be in keeping with the surroundings. High rise is not the way to go. Listen to the people and wider community and not be blinded by £££££!

This development is against the neighbourhood plan and is therefore unlikely to pass at appeal. The form and mass is highly inappropriate. Whilst the site should clearly be redeveloped the form should be more simpethetic and lower density with a proper amount of parking.

Arundel is already congested with no-where to park. This beautiful town is systematically being ruined.

I think it would be such a disgrace to include such buildings in Arundel

Anything above a two story building on this site would be wholly wrong visually and for the environment. I am completely against this proposal. Yes, we need more housing but please let us have sympathic architecture that will sit well within the town.
