Please keep as is my brother and his wife were married there and they both have passed on but their kids have been getting married there too

My father's funeral was held there after he was killed in the line of duty as a Naval officer. This chapel should remain a chapel where people can pray, reflect, and mourn.

This place was the spiritual center of a place that influenced countless lives of young men and women beginning their journey in service to our country. Please preserve it as it is remembered by so many.

From both a historical and a religious perspective, this chapel should be left alone. As the petition also points out, there are already plenty of food and retail options in Liberty Station.

The LAST CHAPEL remaining on the old "U.S. Navy Training Center" San Diego site. A sense of "History" for many sailors, who served, worshiped, and was trained at NTC. Has not the Corky McMillan Company made enough dollars with their renovation of the entire NTC site? I went through "boot-camp", Company "016" in December 1967, served in the Navy, 1967-1971, and worshipped in that Chapel. To have it become a restaurant, would be blasphemy! Shame on the McMillan Group!!! Are you related to "SPANOS"?

Please keep this historic site. Too many lives have been touched by it to turn it into another money maker. The whole of liberty station has been utterly changed.
