What a tragic proposal by McMillan. Is anything sacred? This is a historic church/building. What wonderful memories for so many families for decades. And today, it is being used as an interfaith facility. What are they thinking? My family is very aware of the Liberty Station development. They have done some wonderful projects that have enhanced the community. There are plenty of empty buildings that can be converted to whatever they choose to make them. Leave the historic church alone.

My husband and I got married here. There was no other choice for us when we realized that both my grandparents and his parents had been married in the same chapel. This historic building needs to remain a a chapel.

I went to Boot Camp here in 1988. I also attended services in this very Chapel. Please do not tear it down. It’s an important part of my history as well as many others who started their Naval career here.

We have enough restaurants in Liberty Station!!!! This is a one-of-a-kind historic chapel and there isn't another one like it in all of San Diego. There is a magnificent pipe organ, baby grand piano and choir loft. It is an elegantly beautiful chapel with exposed wooden beams and stained glass windows . Please preserve this for future generations!

Leave this beautiful balding AS IS! There are enough restaurants in the area. NO need for another one.

I went to boot camp here. I sent with the Blue Jacket Chior in 1971. Liberty Station has changed the entire property. Leave this chapel alone!
