My parents were married in this chapel when my dad was enlisted in the Navy as a corpsman/search and rescue. This is a historic building and needs to be kept a chapel. My parents still go to that chapel when they make their several trips a year to San Diego. I, myself, have been to the chapel twice. It is so beautiful and to hear the stories my parents and grandparents have shared with me....would be a shame if turned into a restaraunt.

Turning North Chapel into anything else would violate the spirit and intent of its intended use when it was transferred. It should remain as part of the Historic Preservation Zone. It would be horrific if The McMillin Company is able to do this and would most certainly raise the ire of native and long-time Point Loma residents, who value the heritage of NTC.

This is a historically sacred place. It needs to preserved as a chapel.

Is support the right of the religious groups to continue to use the chapel as it was intended, especially as the land and buildings were given to Mc Millan for free and with the intent for community use. There are other unused buildings that could be renovated.

Please. . . . a place for reflection. . a place for spiritual solace that is so needed in our country more than ever. Thank you.

The redevelopment of this historic church would be embarrassing for San Diego.

No more restaurants!

My father was senior chaplain at North Chapel in the 1970s. Whenever I return to San Diego I stop by to visit. There is a reverence and peace to the building that deserves to be preserved as a place of worship and meditation. NTC was a huge part of the history of San Diego and North Chapel was the place where military staff and their families of all faiths gathered. I would hate to see that history lost.

That's terrible you don't want to save history and charge such high prices for its use so that it will appear under used

The promise to the people should be honored. Keep this a non denomination church.
