Preserve a Historic San Diego Site: North Chapel at Liberty Station NTC

Stop tearing down historic buildings. The world would not have the Colosseum if the Italians tore it down to build a parking lot. SAVE OUR HISTORY!

Keep the chapel. We have enough restaurants in Point Loma. It’s historical and holds importance to not just the military but to San Diego natives.

Please preserve out Catholic Chapel!

My hustand and I were married here. This chapel will always be special to us. Liberty Station already has plenty of restaurants and shops.

I sang in the choir & attended the Chapel when I was stationed at NTC/SSC. It is the only bldg left that has not been destroyed or desecrated by the developers. Preserve it for those who fought in WWII and for all of us that followed; make it a historical bldg.

Please save this Historic Chaoel and preserve it for what it was intended- a place of worship. Liberty Station is a great place to live, shop and enjoy food and sports. But every inch does not have to make a fortune for the developers . Where is the fulfillment of promises made to the community ,to San Diego ,to the Navy about showcasing the historic significance of this place? How better to highlight this Chapel as The PLace to add To the legacy of the lives that have been and will be touched by this holy place. It should be a memorial chapel and a place for weddings , promotions , graduations and retirements and more. It could be a place that builds community with events that promote civility and progress to unite neighbors , visitors and Point Loma .Better to lower the cost of hosting an event, making it more affordabl ( with appropriate deposit) and it will become a sought after and in demand venue. I support the chapel remaining a chapel and a place of worship and memorial , not a retail place.

Please preserve this place of worship, for worship ONLY. There should be no compromise, they can find another empty building, as SanDiego is a big area and i’m sure they can find something else. God bless everyone who is being affected!

Mr. MaCmillan can afford to skip the income from putting a restaurant in this place...it is the only part left of the NTC our husbands and sons remember!

I attended bootcamp at RTC and BE/E school at NTC.

There are way too memories that have been made in this House of God to allow it to become a restaurant.
