Please do not destroy our collective history - this is more than a building, it has served generations of all faiths at critical times in their lives. There are other unrented buildings on Liberty Station that could become yet another restaurant or commercial venue - do we really need to destroy another irreplaceable piece of San Diego history? Let's put our money where our mouth is in actually serving our veterans not just talking about it.

This is an important chapel for worship and holds historic memories for many and should be protected...there are enough restaurants at Liberty Station!!

I have very precious memories, especially of a funeral, of the chapel being used as a church. It's sacred. I would never patronize a shop or restaurant there.

Please preserve this historical chapel which has played such an important part in innumerable religious ceremonies in peoples' lives. It is a historic chapel, not just for members of our military, but for civilians also. It is a sacred place and should be preserved for the purpose for which it was built. Please, please, please don't let it be converted into a retail building!!
Sincerely yours,
Catherine Jacobson

This chapel has served the military community for many years. It would be shame to see it lost.

The Chapel is a landmark. Liberty Station has enough restaurants. There is no parking for this venue on a daily basis. Vons was there first, and doesn't need their loading dock compromised. Just say no.

Please! Please! Keep this historic sacred place preserved for it’s intended purpose. There are enough retail spaces and other options for retail. Save our historic places for future generations.

Have not supported the way Corcky got this valuable piece of property, it was a gift on MY resources. Promises were made to preserve our Navy history at NTC when it became a money making venture for McMillan and now they want to take history away for ANOTHER restaurant. WRONG, do not let it happen.

Do not destroy our history just to stuff more money into the pockets of developers!
