Research the SSPX. I think the petition owner has ulterior motives. Hence as good as the petition sounds I will not sign.

To whom it may concern, I ask you to reconsider taking this beautiful holy church from a community, we are a traditional catholic church and there are not many. So if you take it away our church, we would have to drive far away to find another traditional church, we love are church are priest, Im begging you to reconsider for the love of God and the people, I will be praying for you and God bless you.

The world does not need another restaurant, especially at the expense of evicting faithful Christians from this Sacred place and destroying the character of an Historic Chapel, important to many, including our Veterans. It seems good old fashioned greed is at play, with a tinge of bigotry against Christians, due to the dual factors of exorbitant rental fees and other vacant buildings still available to develope.

Let's all pray that our voices and this petition will be heard. We must prevent the U.S.A. from becoming a secular state. San Diego was founded by people of faith and we must not forget that. Manuel Jaramillo, Past Grand Knight Fr. Maguire Council #3851 Covina, CA

Please leave this historic place as is. Don’t turn it into a restaurant. It is a chapel and should remain a chapel

Please retain the North Chapel. With all of the history and services provided to sailors and soldiers throughout it's history, this is truly a historical place. A historical place of unity, worship, respect and remembrance. Demolishing such a historical chapel citing "underuse" is alike comparing the site to a vacant lot. The chapel's doors should remain open and available to continue to build respect, unity and remembrance of the commitment of those who worshiped there.
